Core Strategy The Core Strategy was largely a non-site specific document intended to provide broad strategic planning policies for the Borough. The Core Strategy formally reached the Preferred Options stage and was consulted on in summer A further consultation on growth options was completed in October Consultation responses have been used to inform the emerging Local Plan.

Core Strategy Issues and Options A public consultation exercise was carried out on the Core Strategy Issues and Options Report for a six weeks, 1st Friday December to 12th Monday January Subsequently, a Consultation Responses Report was produced to highlight the main issues that consultees felt should be addressed in subsequent versions of the Core Strategy. Core Strategy Preferred Options Consultation on the Core Strategy Preferred Options was open for three months between 1st July and 24th September Nearly individuals made written comments on the document, with almost 3, people attending 88 public drop-in sessions held across the Borough.
