I have been a thorough and loyal customer of Best Buy for more than thirty years. However, I am writing this to inform Best Buy management of the unfair and unethical practice by Citi Bank who proudly displays the Best Buy name to dissipate me and hundreds of others as your loyal customer. I signed an agreement, inside a Best Buy store, for an agreed on credit amount with no interest to be paid off within twelve months.

I have never been late on a payment and made several well over the minimum! Citi decided to change that agreement I made with them, without any contact or discussion with myself, and lower my credit limit. I had to call and get routed through four people before finding the reason why. It is a no interest account of minimal dollars that I can pay off at any time I want, so what does the high balance have to do with anything?

Lord knows they would prefer me to have a balance at the end of the 12 months for some more unethical practice I know about, but feel sorry for those who do not. Therefore, I have worked diligently to make the payments needed, which would allow me to make purchases at Best Buy when I do not have cash on hand.

Citi has destroyed this and destroyed the respect I have for them and to Best Buy for allowing this. I have currently cut my card in half and will not be a patron at another Best Buy store. Claire has no skill or knowledge about Customer Service and she kept interrupt me while I am speaking to her which make me raise my voice to make her listen to me, therefore, she took that to her benefit that i raised my voice and basically she said I will not help you and ask me to leave the store.

Claire made a scene in front of other customers and employees which made me get embarrassed and leave the store without resolving the issue. I sent an e-mail to the store Manager from the store web site and no reply so far probably due to Easter weekend.
