Want to post a trade? USA Stock trading vs. Forex Trading your opinion self. I personally hate the stock market because i think it's barbaric to charge a commission on top of a spread, and not to mention they don't allow leverage Another thing that i really hate is that the market closes everyday and it could open the next day with a HUGE gap. Every time that happens i pretty much lost my opportunity enter the trade to catch that big drop or rise.

One thing that I DO like about the stock market is the fact that it moves a lot more in total percent wise, but like i said before, without leverage you're pretty much going to rely on having a large capital. I traded stocks for about six months. That's not very much. It's why I switched Forex.

Anyway, if you want to trade stocks, either daytrade or intraday, this is what I did: I traded stocks with a minimum 1. This way the security was liquid and it had some volatility or movement I could play with.

Depending on how much you have to trade with you might want to limit the price range too. So you have your stocks you want to trade, now what?

Fuck fundamentals if you are day and intraday trading. Watch what they are doing premarket, where's the high and low? Look for those points of support and resistance to be hit during the day on the minute. I love trading double tops and double bottoms; my bread and butter. Even better, use some momentum escalators to measure divergence either bearish or bullish.

If you want to use divergence trading approach, look at the daily and look for plateaus where the momentum is decreasing and looking like it's ready to head under the 50 on RSI A good play I caught recently was Amazon when it was at and there was extreme bearish divergence, so I bought a bunch of puts 55 days out.

All the info you need is in the charts. Remember, keep it simple.

Stock market as a whole have thousands of tradable companies you can pick from. If you have a personality that likes to filter things out and zoom in on your prey, stock market is the way to go. Developing filtering software or using service like trade-ideas. Now, Forex market lacks choice. That would still be an understatement. There are only so many pairs that you can trade even considering the exotics.

This is the market for people who likes to have long attachment to a market. Traders who wants to get to know everything about the few instrument is perfect for Forex and even commodities. One is not better than others because let's be honest about downside of Forex, it's slow a hell and your argument of higher leverage allowed over stock is not really a benefit if you don't have large capital reserve that you can afford to draw down from in which case you could use that large reserve to trade stock market anyways.

Also, stocks are great place to use options trading. The digital nature of options trading is great for such volatile market since your options have better chance of not expiring worthless than slower moving markets. If you read the book Antifragile, you will see that concept of 'optionality' is best express in markets that tends to freak out every now and then. If you're not comfortable with options trading, liquor markets like FX, ES and CL is great since they can be trade with analog like characteristic due to less gapping.

There are leveraged ways to trade us equities too; options, and commodities and stock index futures. The amount of bullshit "fundamental" analysis you have to do on each one is annoying!!!!

Granted I'll make far more then that in a month, but still C'MON! Do you know of any good forex brokers in the US that still accept US clients? Recently a lot of them stopped because of some regulations. I don't get why the US is lacking in the forex market than the rest of the world, seems like they only care about stocks. I'm thinking of moving to Canada since I have dual citizenship just to be able to trade and be able to make a decent income.

Only other thing I've thought about is trading binary. Has anyone thought about using that new ITM Saturn Pro?
