It helps to be flexible but not too flexible, just flexible enough that your guys like dealing with you but not too flexible that they'll take advantage of you. It's a decent small time gig, did it for a few months in high school to buy my truck. In highschool and college it's actually pretty easy to make a lot of money, always have a fresh supply of people wanting to buy, it's once you're out of school that it becomes so much less profitable, no one wants to buy from a kid. I call it sharing because I buy 19 Gs then my friends bring their own scales over so I have no felonies in the house.

Not necessarily, most scales have a particular range of masses they're intended for and the further one gets from that range, the less accurate it becomes.

Nah my 18 year old buddy has been selling for a year and he's shown me his stash I've never met someone whose sole purpose in life was to sell drugs. Everyone at my high school and at my college sold to just smoke for free. I think it entirely depends on where you live, I can't remember what documentary I was watching, but there was a part in South Africa, long story short, its better money to sell weed at 0.
Of course that's just one example, in the UK, whatever cannabis I could buy, I can easily double my money by selling it on the street, or near double money by giving it to my dealer to distribute.
I can only imagine this being more pronounced in illegal parts of America. Cheap cannabis is very close to you guys, the people who originally buy the crop certainly aren't paying the high prices you have to pay on the street. There is plenty of money to be made. Problem is movies glorify it like you will make millions, no with out the start up costs and an already established net work you won't. I've never seen a movie glorify dealing. Usually if there's a dealer in a movie he's someone's bitch, can't escape his situation due to blackmail or lack of alternative income and gets in a ton of trouble with law enforcement, friends and family because of it.
In fact, the only movie I can think that features a dealer that becomes successful is Scarface, and even he spoilers dies at the end.

Just get a job. Dispensaires in legal states are a diffrent story. Tolerance is a bitch. They won't pick up when called since they're at their real job. Ultimately it makes most of them inconsistent and overall not a good quality service. Weed is so much cheaper for me than alcohol. It's only where I'm at.
